We ordered shaken espresso drinks to get us through a hot afternoon in the kitchen, and they were delivered to us in cocktail glasses.

Alice Waters is here! She founded the Rome Sustainable Food Project, and is here with us for the whole week. Such a delight to spend time with her.

Off to Tel Aviv tomorrow for the weekend, then back to Rome for another jam-packed week. We’ll see if I manage to spit out some paragraphs for next time!
