Phoebe! I do read all the posts, but not always in a timely fashion. So I didn’t know to ask you about the master class. Would love to know more about it.

I know the singer’s dilemma well — it’s been feast or famine for me in my adult years. My favorite consistent singing experience has been with choirs. I love the challenge of learning new music, the joy of making beautiful music, and the social dynamic. And for the singer-songwriter in you, I’m sure there are many open mic opportunities. You could also invest in a good microphone and start playing around with recording. It’s a ton of fun and you can do it at home, when you have time!

Good luck! I’m just happy to hear you acknowledging its importance in your life!!

Hi Rah! Would love to tell you more about the master class one of these days. It was very cool to witness! The singer's dilemma is a tough one indeed. I'm trying out some group singing opportunities this winter and will let you know how they go. Do you have a microphone recommendation for playing around at home? xox love you

Love this!! When you get back, let us know about your favorite Thanksgiving dishes? I’d love to know what a pro cooks on Thanksgiving. And ps. I have a friend who sings in a choir. I can inquire (see what I did there?) xo

I will send you our Thanksgiving menu! I barely cooked anything this year because my brothers and their significant others are such enthusiastic, wonderful cooks. And I'd love for you to inquire about your friend's choir!

As always, these posts bring me so much happiness. You write so beautifully about all my favorite things: friends, food, family. Also, I just love and appreciate the way you describe life and all it's complexities. Also, you are definitely inspiring me on the food front. PS - love the pic of you and your new niece, Irwin. So cute.

I really like the one I have. It’s back in Colorado, so I’ll have to look at it to get the exact make and model.
